Bella Capellis Hair Salon, Issue #003 --Winter
February 05, 2016

Well winter is here along with the dry skin, scalp and skin. My clients often ask me what they can do to help get rid of the dryness. When the weather changes so does our skin, from head to toe. I let my clients know that it might be time to switch up their shampoo and conditioner. It is not good to keep using the same shampoo and conditioner all year long.

One of the best shampoo's that I enjoy using is Moroccan oil shampoo and conditioners. It is a little expensive, however, it works really well. Hopefully you are not washing your hair everyday, which can cause dryness. Try washing your hair every other day. If you are blonde, there is a dry shampoo from TIGI called Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo.

Moroccan oil is also good for the scalp. Another remedy for the scalp is Apple Cider Vinegar.

For my dry skin, I use olive oil at night before bed. A little dap will do ya! I put olive oil under my eyes and around the dry area of my nose.

Call me for an appointment to cut your hair. I look forward to seeing you soon!
